Puerto Calero (also known as Costa Calero) is the quietest resort on the whole of Lanzarote. The area is very small compared to the major resorts in Lanzarote playing host to very few apartments and hotels. There are some privately owned apartments, some hotels and apartment complexes for people to book who do wish to stay in the quiet Puerto Calero.
Puerto Calero offers some stunning views and has one of the best harbour on the Island. The harbour (also known as Millionaires Harbour) has been host to boats and yachts worth up to and over 10 Million euros.
There is a main walk way along the harbour which is filled with shops, restaurants and a few shops. This is an perfect place for people to visit who want to relax, enjoy good food and views.
Puerto Calero is now also the host of a whale and dolphin museum.
Some of the most popular trips leave from Puerto Calero including the Yellow Submarine and the Catamaran.
