HAD A DINNER IN PUERTO BAHIA, VERY GOOD RESTAURANT

My husband and I have been going to italian restaurant and this mamma carla is the very good the meat is cooked to perfection. The restaurant seems to be family run and the service is brilliant, the chef is a nice person. the greeter is brilliant I would like to say that the waiters spoke in the language that the restaurants customers spoke english,,spanish, german etc I would like to say a thanks for all the perfect meals we had. The pasta was excelelnt as the pizza, it is a place to visit.

Like others- we visit Lanzarote many times and ALWAYS go back to Mammacarla restaurant for 2 visits. We do tour the island, and experience other places and cuisines- but have found in terms of people, food, ambience and quality- this is very highly rated, Situated in Puerto del Carmen, the restaurant is down biosfera center . Daily specials, home cooked food, pizza and pasta. Extensive wine list and authentically Italian. Excellent value for money and the owners could not be more welcoming. Please visit and try for yourself. this mamma carla is a very good place

We were recommended to go to Los Hervideros by people who were frequent visitors to Playa Blanca. The restaurant is not on the sea front but is in Calle el Marisco which is north of the Avenida de Papagayo - it is close to where the "river" (in a culvert) flows down to the beach. Four of us made reservations for the final evening of our vacation. The whole experience was great - a nice clean restaurant, with friendly service and excellent, good value food. Three of us had steaks and one a fish dish - all first class. The meal with wine/beer cost Euro 60 (plus tip). This was the least expensive and by far the best meal that we had during our week's stay. The restaurant has some fascinating photos of Playa Blanca from the air taken in the 1960s - take a look and see if you can recognise it. It has grown a bit since then!

I find it very suspicious that all the reviews for that italian restaurant are in semi broken english and they all have a very italian way of speaking.Very very suspicious and any inclination i would have had of visiting there has gone.Give it up Mamma Carla.

I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY SOMEONE, PUT IN ARGUMENT THE MAMMA CARLA, RESTAURANT, I WENT THERE AND WAS GOOD. SAMETHING WHEN I ATE IN QUINTINS, ALL PERFECT. WE HAD TO BELIEVE ONLY THE BAD REWIEW? TRY AND TELL AS WE DO. EVERYBODY CAN CONTACT ME.

We visited MAMMACARLA 3 times during our week's stay in Puerto as each time we saw something else that we wanted to try next time. The chef are very friendly and passionate about creating authentic pasta dishes and make about four kind of pasta each day to choose from. There's another Restaurant in Puerto del Carmen Trattoria verona very good, but we spent many more Euros there. These Italian restaurant are definitely worth a visit or three- you won't be disappointed. Even the locals believe that two restauranat MammaCarla and trattoria verona are the best in town.

IN LANZAROTE CI SONO TRE POSTI ITALIANI DOVE MANGIARE BENE, POMPEI IN ARRECIFE , TRATTORIA DI VERONA IN PUERTO DEL CARMEN, MAMMA CARLA VICINO AL CENTRO COMMERCIALE. SONO STATO PER LAVORO 4 MESI E POSSO AFFERMARE CON CERTEZZA CHE SI TRATTA DI POSTI DOVE SI MANGIA UNA OTTIMA CUCINA ITALIANA. CI SONO ALTRI RISTORANTI,I MA NON SONO AL LORO LIVELLO. MARIO TREVI.
