Lanzarote at christmas time is vast becoming the most popular time of your for tourist to visit the Island.  With Lanzarote being around 4 hours flying away from the Uk and Ireland it’s the closest place you can travel where you are just about certian to have nice weather.

If you are stopping in Puerto Del Carmen you will be please to know there are some events over the christmas period that you can go to (for free)

25th December you will find in The old town harbour of Puerto del Carmen, church marina choir.

30th December, Puerto del Carmen beach avenue concert by Tias Municipal band.

31st December, along the strip (main beach in Puerto del Carmen) you will find alot going on, from live music to fireworks at 2am in the morning.

4th January, Old town harbour in Puerto del Carmen is another concert by El Pavon and folklore school.

5th January (Spanish christmas) is the 3 kings procession along the main strip ending up in the old town harbour (along the strip around 9pm).
