Car Hire Lanzarote

On the Island of Lanzarote they are many different companies you can hire a car from.

Most of the companies have good prices and the cars are up to a general standard.

If you do wish to hire a car you must be :-

- over the age of 21 (some companies you must be over the age of 25)

- have a valid driving licence with you and have your passport.

Normally the process is quick providing they have a car for you. You will normally have to pay a deposit on the car, if the car comes back damaged you will not get your deposit back.

Note

When driving in Lanzarote it's very important that you carry ALL your documents with you at all times, this includes your drivers licence (passport is optional) and all documents that you were given when you hired the car. If you fail to produce these documents you could face a large on the spot fine.
