My partner and kids really wanted to do this trip, I was apprehensive and I thought it was expensive. However for the sake of the group I went along with it.
The coach picked us up on time, the 30 minute journey was cool and comfortable. Upon arrival it became apparent that the whole experience is VERY well organised. We were shown a safety video and given a short break to go to the loo, have a drink etc.
Unfortuantley I experienced a bit of a panic attack before entering the submarine, the chap helping us to board was more than helpful and considerate giving me the option to get off! I didn't - and I'm pleased that I continued with the adventure.
Very relaxing and surreal being under the ocean. Great suprise when we 'landed' on the bed (I won't spoil for you!).
All in all, once in a lifetime experience, very well organised, a little pricey but well worth it.

Myself my wife my son and mother went on the submarine on the 03/09/2008. It is without doubt the best experience ever had by us. If you do visit Lanzarote be sure to make the trip to Puerto Calero, it is an unforgetable experience. The crew are exellent. Thank you to them all.

The submarine docked in Puerto Calero is one of only a few submarines that tourist can used. This excursions will be like nothing you have done before, going down to the sea bed (around 100 feet) and seeing a world you will have never seen before is not to be missed!
