The South Tour in Lanzarote is an excursion that will take you around many different places of interest in one day.
Places you will visit are:-
Timanfaya National Park
El Golfo
Los Hervideros (Coast line)
Salt Lakes
La Geria (Wine tasting)
The South tour is normally a full day, when you pay for the trip this will include being picked up at a specific location and dropped off at the same place later in the day, you should also get a meal (normally 3 courses) at a spanish restaurant.
If you go on the South Tour the price and places you visit can vary depending on whom you book with, generally they will go to the same places and the cost should be around the same.
Cost :
Adults : 38 € (from)
Children (2-12) : 16 € (from)
The prices will include the enterance fee to the Timanfaya National Park, lunch and wine tasting but again, this will vary on whom you book with.
You can book this trip either through you tour rep or through many of the different companies offering trips on the Island.

I personally really enjoyed the south tour during summer 2006. There's plenty to see as the tour covers a whole range of natural features to view including coastal caves, the green lagoon, local salt mines, camel riding, the volcano 'scientific experiments' and geomorphological drive through tour, wine tasting, gift shopping and a lovely lunch so well worth the money. Definately take a camera!!
