Aquapark (Water Park)

I thought it was one of the better ones. Compared to Faliraki and Crete it was cleaner, well staffed, and the staff were conscientious not only about safety but also about heat/sunburn, suggesting the children cover up or add more factor protection. The slides and flumes were great fun, clean and in good condition and it wasn't overcrowded. The only problem was the floors, almost impossible to walk on in bare feet and the staff won't let the kids wear their water/jelly sandals or t-shirts on the slides. Certainly worth a day out I would say.

well reading about the water park i am due to fly in on the 22nd april, 09 judging by the comments made above i think i will give it a big miss. thanks all.

after reading the comments i agree with hard floors ,greasy food but thats a water park, however the reason for my comment is "Big Children" one of my sons was 5yrs old and above the height limit for the "KIDS" baby areas and couldn't swim,this was explained to the staff and even with me, was not allowed in these areas so i was left with a 5yr old in a water park that couldn't go in the water. So just be warned if you've got big children "TALL" you may end up getting very stressed ,hot and not being able to cool off .The staff were very poor and just we not bothered,unless your a group of teenagers stay by you pool much easier day.

Well i thought the park its self was great, loads of slides for all ages, theres a section for small children further at the back and a few near the front for children who do not need to be supervised by an adult. There's a large pool area which is the same level throughout, theres a jacuzzi style area also. The floors are rough on your feet to walk on espeacially to go on the slides. The food isn't all that great and the portions are nothing spectacular but enough for a quick snack. I didn't have any problems with the staff thoughout my trip either. Overall i would say it is a park like everywhere else, it's what you make of it, theres food, pools, slides, sunbeds, and sunshine, what else would you expect from a waterpark?

I agree with the previous comments about the poor state of repair and hard floors, not to mention how hard they are to walk on when itﾴs hot. However despite this the park would still be a good fun day out if it were not for the staff! At 6 when we started to dry ourselves to leave all the staff formed in a big group around us, obviously desperate to go home and unwilling to wait 5 minutes for us to change. We had 2 small children with us and because of this we asked them to give us some privacy to change, they refused and before we knew it they became very confrontational and an argument ensued. We were then growled at by one member of their staff. When we tried to talk to the manager a member of staff claimed to be the manager, this i struggled to believe, and he told us to just go and that we were wrong, what made this worse was the fact that there were plenty of other people still in the aquapark who left after us, however they were not surrounded and forced to leave at bang on 6. Finally as if this was not enough when we got to our cars outside 3 members of the staff pulled up in a car. As they drove past they gave very rude gestures out of the window and then stopped and got out. One member of this group then pulled a metal pole out of the car and took his shirt off and started to advance on us. At this point i became very very very concerned for the children and locked them in the car. I then grabbed my mobile phone and told them i was calling the police. Luckily this was enough to cause them to leave, however i have never ever been so shocked in my life. Acting like that to a paying customer is bad enough but with small children present as well. I can safely say i will never ever return to the park again and i hope that this will help to stop anyone ever getting into the same or even worse situation.

Maybe not the best water park but it's what you make it and still a good day out for kids and adults alike. Admission is expensive and you are asked as you go in how many beds you would like and pay extra. However, once you are in and you can pay for two beds but easily take more as no ticket is issued and nobody checks. The walkways to the water slides are very rough and hard on your feet but still good fun once you get on them. Don't bother with restaurant food - greasy chips and burgers - ugh!! & expensive. If your hotel/apartment has a good pool you may not want to bother with the Aquapark.

This park is the worst water park I have ever been to. It is shabby at best and in places is in a really bad state of repair. The staff are unhelpful and appear to be intentionally slow at dealing with you. I had worn shorts with my swim costume all day and at 5pm was told I could not go on the slides with them on. I objected and was sent all over the park to find the manager who shrugged his shoulders and said I couldn't ride with them on! This is really not worth the over inflated entry cost.
