Ironman is an event know throughout the world and is popular with both men and women. Ironman in Lanzarote however, is known has the hardest due to the heat the contestants have to cope with on the bike ride.

The Ironman competition is held in Lanzarote once a year but the start and finish of the race takes place in Puerto Del Carmen. The competition it's self always attracts people from all over the world who rank from professionals to amateurs.

The race consists of:

3.8km swim at starting at 7:00am in the morning.

180km bike ride around the Island.

42.195km run in which you must finish before 00:00.
