Timanfaya National Park

The Timanfaya National Park is the most popular tourist attraction there is in Lanzarote. Located in the south west this fire mountain nearly devistated Lanzarote by killing off everything on the Island. The area in question errupted for a total of 5 years.

Tips

When visiting the National Park you should ensure you take suitable foot wear and remember that being on top of a volcano it will be windy and sometimes cold.
