Aeronautical Museum

Lanzarote which has been a popular tourist destination with many people for over 40 years now has had to upgrade the airport many times in order to keep up with the constant demand from tourist.

The first passanger terminal which operated from 1946 to 1970 has been opened to the public and has become park of the Aeronautical Museum.

The museum which is located next to the current Airport is home to many old pictures and technicial documentation which will help you understand the evolution of the air transport on Lanzarote during the time period of 1946 ro 1970.
