Santa Barbara Castle

Santa Barbara castle is located on top of Guanapay mountain which is right behind and overlooking Teguise. This castle used to be a watch tower in the 16th century. The castle when used as a watch tower has good views of the East and West coasts of Lanzarote.

Santa Barbara castle is now a museum and allows tourist to venture in and learn about the History of Lanzarote.
