Timanfaya National Park
Which is host to Fire Mountain is the main attraction for people to visit when in Lanzarote. This massive Volcano erupted in 1730 and lasted 6 years till 1736. It's also classed as the closet to the Moons surface as you will find on earth.

The Cactus Gardens
On the north east coast of Lanzarote are home to more than 10,000 cacti. These attract the female cochineal beetle from which carmine dye is extracted.

Cueva de los Verdes - The Green Caves
Is part of the same underground volcanic tubes as the Jameos del Agua and were formed by the eruptions of the volcano de la Corona.

Cesar Manrique
Was born in 1919 in Puerto Naos Arrecife and is the person responsible for shaping the Island as it is today. His house in which people can visit is built in to the lava.

Jameos Del Agua
