What can I add. mm You canhire all types of cycleat the hires shop close to the harbour. They have a fantastic range, even trailers for your kids/dogs or whatever. the promenades are excelent to pedal along (dont go too fast, there are children about) For the more adventurous there is the whole island to choose from. we have cycled to fire mountain many times. diving hie and schools in Playa and porta-del carmen. cant wait to be there again...........................next week

Flamingo Beach is still a building site and does not look nearly complete. However 20 minutes further down the coastal path is Playa Dorada Beach which is fabulous, white sand and a gently sloping beach.. The trip to Papagayo is well worth the time, but take provisions as there is nothing there and it is a long walk over the mountains to get there! Be prepared to be sandblasted too as it can be quite windy. As for food everywhere we ate in the area was good, but by far an away the best was La Cuadra a Tex Mex on the main road behind Playa Blanca Harbour, excellent choice and perfectly cooked.

Playa Blanca Beach is still closed due to re-construction of the break-water, see reviews on Trip Advisor for updates. By all accounts heavy machinery on the beach to complete the repair works has required the entire beach to be fenced off, there are buses to other nearby beaches.

i have been to playa blanca in 2008 & 2009 both during oct thinking about booking a third for the end of may begining of june 2010 , can anybody comment on the weather exsperienced. oh by the way the resort is excellent loads of options.

we enjoyed playa blanc so much while on holidays there two years ago ,we have bought a villa by the marine.people so friendly and resort so safe and beautiful.would recommed it for. a holiday.excellent for new years eve ,fireworks and great to be able to bring children out on that night not much at home .

going for the 5th time in two years what a place the best beaches and marina total relacation and good bars like the nags head and wax bar.going again in november 09 roll on.
